Jojo's Wedding

Well, Jojo's wedding actually took place in Alor Setar sometime in December.. :). Was procrastinating but I guess it's time to upload them as I was going through some of the pictures on my hard disk.

Here's some pictures for your enjoyment:

My team members!

Today had a wonderful time in the office - my team was given a task by the management to prepare a video and a group picture. It was great fun as everyone fumbled with their lines and the idiocy of the facial expressions! haha. Anyway, here's a picture of my team members .. :)

It was a miracle that there was no incoming calls for 5 minutes as we were having our pictures taken! Cool!

Parents going off to Cambodia!

1-March: My parents were in town prior to leaving for a 20 days tour in Cambodia and Vietnam. Am i envious of them! :) Anyway, as they hauled their luggage in to my house, I gave a gape of shock, cos their luggage must have weigh at least 30kg! hehe... but most of the items were for their friend, Rosa in Cambodia, luckily.. :). Phew!

As we were rearranging their baggages, mum suddenly realized that she left ALL her USD in Malacca. Adooiii! Luckily they still had their passports with them! :) After much hassling, we finally got them all packed up, changed more money and packed them off to LCCT airport to board the plane.

Here's a picture of them looking happy to be on their way.

Lou Sang with Friends

Michelle came over to KL for a visit during Chinese New Year. So all of us decided to have a get-together and went for Lou Sang at Overseas Restaurant, Jalan Imbi. It's been a while since we all sat down and enjoyed the night out without talking about work, great fun.. :)

Here's some pictures that we took.. :).

Up on Lookout Point!

16-February: 2 days after Valentine's day. Kim had decided to surprise me with a Valentine's Day dinner. Well, it was a surprise until the point that he could keep the secret as he wasn't quite sure of the route to the place.. :). So he had no other choice but to tell me.

While we heading to our destination, the sky was getting a little bit cloudy, showing signs of heavy rain. Kim was starting to worry if our "romantic" dinner would land us in a drenched state..:) .

As we reached our destination, the whole place was so crowded with tourist and couples, and it's really hard to look for a carpark. But as luck has it, we managed to find one that is extremely near our eating place. For those unlucky ones, they possibly need to park at the bottom of the hillside and take a 10 minutes walk to reach.. :)

The LookOut tower was just a 3 storey high tower, overlooking the whole of KL.. :).. Fantastic view! Here'a a picture that we took before and after the sun sets.. :).
As our stomach starts to growl, we head off to the restaurants, quite a few choices there. So we went to the one with the least people so we can enjoy the view. The price of the food was surprisingly reasonable, total damage came to rm40 for 2 of us..:)..
Thanks to Kim for such a wonderful night out.. Muakkkssss.. hehe.

Great food in Old Klang Road!

It's been a while since I last updated my blog, so guess I'll be doing multiple updates all in one.. :D
While doing some New Year shopping in Mid Valley, we had our dinner in Old Kland Road. Kim was the one suggested to go there. He said his friend recommended a Mongolian roasted goat, so, we decided to give it a try.

But just as we were about to reach, it started to rain.. :(.. and we actually don't know the exact location of the place. So, after making few wrong turns, we finally decided to give up and just stop at the roadside stall.

I ordered pork intestines soup, while Kim ordered Shanghai Prawn Mee. Surprisingly both of them was really really good. Two thumbs up !!The price is RM4++ only. Cheap and nice.

Here's the directions:

We checked with the lady owner where the Mongolian Roasted Goat is, and to our delight, it is right where we had our meal ..:) , except it will closes every Sunday.

Sis in Town

My sis came back to Malaysia for a visit during the first 2 weeks of January with her son, Tyler. He's such a love and both Kim and I was totally besotted with him at the first sight .. :). So much so, that I took so many pictures of my nephew and none of my sis.. :) . Hehe.

Here's some photos that I took of my lil' nephew:

And here's a photo of Kim and I with Tyler.. :)

Cellphone.. cellphone.. where are you... :(

I lost my cellphone!
Not a very new phone, but unfortunately it an amazing one that I have lots of fond memories of, especially with the all the photos that I had taken with it and also because I had taken such good care of the phone (not an easy feat to keep it scratchless after 2 yrs of usage!) ... :*(

Whoever stole the phone, I hope he suffers 3 years of constipation!!! #$%&

Anyway, this was how my phone used to look like **sniff**sniff**
Anyway, after I found out my phone was lost, attempted to contact Maxis to check if I could do a trace my phone or even the numbers dialled. Unfortunately the service was quite disappointing. I insisted that I would not want to suspend my line as my phone was still contactable, however, after 10 minutes, I found that my line was still suspended after all!

However, the sim card replacement was pretty efficient though. I got my replacement after 5 minutes of lining up at the Maxis centre. I guess the next hurdle is to get a new phone.. :(
